Techno degraded in the new EP of the Parisian label Rengaine. An unknown artist who calls himself Enrique hogs the A side of this eighth release with two cuts of extreme, although controlled, saturation. Old Piece Of Shit is abrasive techno of ordinary metrics, while Untitled (I Want To Die) maintains the same level of saturation but its cadence is more typical of the industrial.
French producer Killian Vaissade aka Pursient takes care of the B side with two direct cuts, but his techno is more accelerated and saturation is not as present as in Enrique’s two tracks. Born To Fall 1 and Born To Fall 2 sound old school.
