Mystified – Conditioning [Toksynna]

Although we can categorise Toksynna as a label that works solely with experimental music, its style is broad and can encompass an infinite number of genres, which are far removed from the dancefloor.

Toksynna’s third release is by Mystified, nickname of the American producer Thomas Park. This multidisciplinary artist is connected to fractal music, a discipline that links composition with mathematical patterns, which is why recursive and experimental music has always had a great impact on all his works. Thomas also has an extensive catalogue of releases, releasing at a frenetic pace and under different aliases, although Mystified has always been his main musical identity.

Conditioning is an album divided into two long tracks, each lasting close to 30 minutes. Both tracks are recorded live and showcase Thomas’ creativity in bringing to life infinite disjointed textures to create a point of union between them. This combination of elements is perfectly designed to penetrate the listener’s mind, but not everyone will experience the same sensations, and they may even vary from listener to listener.
