Years of Denial – We Operate on Each Other [Veyl]

Celebrating a decade at the forefront of electronic music is no small feat, but the duo Years of Denial has found the perfect way to mark their tenth anniversary, by turning to their own legacy and reinventing it. With We Operate on Each Other (Diamond Version), the act revisits their 2018 track originally released on Broken English Club’s label (Death & Leisure), subjecting it to a complete structural overhaul.

The track has been dismantled and reassembled with a sharper, more visceral sound architecture tailored for dancefloor frenzy. While retaining the claustrophobic atmosphere and commanding vocals of Barkosina Hanusova that characterized the original, this version ramps up the rhythmic punch and synthetic textures, further cementing the project’s darkest side.

Released on Veyl, this track pays tribute to ten years of artistic metamorphosis while serving as a teaser for their upcoming album, the third installment of Suicide Disco 3.

Celebrar una década de trayectoria en la vanguardia de la música electrónica no es tarea fácil, pero el dúo Years of Denial ha encontrado la forma perfecta de conmemorar su décimo aniversario, y lo ha hecho mirando a su propio legado para refundarlo. Con We Operate on Each Other (Diamond Version), la formación rescata aquel corte de 2018 publicado en el sello de Broken English Club (Death & Leisure) y lo somete a una reestructuración absoluta.

La pista ha sido desmantelada y ensamblada de nuevo con una arquitectura sonora mucho más afilada, visceral y orientada al descontrol de la pista de baile. Aunque conserva la atmósfera asfixiante y la voz imponente de Barkosina Hanusova que caracterizaró al tema original, esta entrega gana en contundencia rítmica y textura sintética, consolidando la faceta más oscura del proyecto.

Lanzado bajo el catálogo de Veyl, este tema rinde tributo a diez años de metamorfosis artística y, al mismo tiempo, sirve como carta de presentación de su inminente álbum, la tercera entrega de Suicide Disco 3.
