Zeuge – Can`t Call You Back [Concrete Collage]
Concrete Collage celebrates this week a year since the release of Bipolar Outflow, an album by Droid Eater with which the French label began its journey in an abstract music scene, with influences from hard genres such as breakcore, acid, hardcore or jungle, fused with more experimental electronic trends such as IDM.
The Belarusian Zeuge signs the twelfth reference of Concrete Collage, Can’t Call You Back is an album difficult to digest, polyrhythmic and consistent, which mixes the most common genres of the Zeuge stage with the breakcore, with other styles such as glitch and IDM, all broken and mashed to an extreme level. Remnants of Acid and Jungle can also be heard, making this surprising cut and paste madness “party-friendly” as well!
This album is punctuated with short experiments recorded on modular synthesizers, called “Logfiles,” ranging from Industrial Noise to weird Trap, giving some breath in between the moments of violence from the main tracks.
The album has the collaboration of the Belgian producer M.E.R.S, a remix of fxbip and a song by Stazma The Junglechrist remixed by Zeuge.
Release date: September 27th, 2019.
