Soil Records 4th anniversary

Soil Records is a label that we have followed since the day of its birth and with which we identify ourselves, as well as with many other labels that are already part of our sound heritage. All these projects, including Soil Records, have made us grow as a magazine, as a publishing house and also as a record platform. For this reason, and for many more, we would like to congratulate Soil Records for its trajectory and for this fourth anniversary, and we would also like to thank them for counting on us as the official media for their next celebration.

There have been several cities around the world where Soil Records has celebrated its fourth year in activity, and after travelling to cities like New York or Medellin, it returns to Valencia to culminate this series of showcases, as next July 2nd, the Valencian venue 16 Toneladas will host an event that brings together artists from different parts of the world, who in some way, either by their involvement with the project, or because of what they represent by their career, are connected with the label. 

The main course of this fourth anniversary is Fixmer and McCarthy. This duo, formed by the veteran French producer and the Nitzer Ebb singer, has been active for nearly two decades, with a sublime live set. From Bogotá, Damaged Clock lands for the first time in Europe to join this great night with their impressive live show. Also from Colombia comes Felipe Novoa, half of Alpha & Necromante and Agent 15, although on this occasion he performs solo with his alter ego 𝕸𝖆𝖌𝖓𝖚𝖒 𝕺𝖕𝖚𝖘. The fourth and last international artist is the Greek Alpha Sect, who presents his powerful live set for the first time in Spain.

Soil Records did not want to forget its closest collaborators and added to the line-up names such as Gamada, a Valencian duo with an impressive live set in which everything is created live, without samplers or digital additions, to create a raw and totally analogue sound ritual. Another Valencian duo that will also be present with their intense live performance is Spammerheads, formed by Ana Escudero and David Garrido. Industrial Complexx will also participate from the stage with a musical proposal that defines the sound interests of the platform. Orco, owner of Fill-Lex Records, will show his background on the decks with a methodical and specially selected set. And to close the evening, what better way to end it than with SOJ, the owner of Soil Records and one of the leading spanish exponents of the EBM and industrial scene.
