Moken – Redemption [Soil Records]

Soil Records is currently one of the best showcases for discovering new scholars of the industrial scene, as its philosophy is based above all on the quality and originality that an artist can bring, even if his name does not arouse the same interest as that of other big producers.

Moken is an artist with a short career, but with great potential and a huge and very elaborate sound. He is a fairly recent addition to Soil Records, his first contribution was at the end of last year with a track for the third volume of Tears For Fears, and now, he returns with a release of his own that will be released as an EP on vinyl and as an album on cassette.

No Prisoners is a raw and merciless album, with degraded textures, sweeping rhythmic elements, apocalyptic vocals, intense bass lines and big spaces. Its industrial sound is kept in a warlike line that changes of scenery with each track, transporting us to a confusing world, with different stages that can be placed both in a solemn environment and in the deliriousness of a toxic and disturbed mind.
