Dmitry Distant & Arnaud Lazlaud – De Ton Absence [Electronic Leatherette]

The fourth release of Electronic Leatherette is simply beautiful collaboration between Latvian label boss and versatile producer Dmitry Distant and Canadian based producer & singer better known by Automelodi project – Xavier Paradis aka Arnaud Lazlaud. Both of them are passionate by New Wave music and hardware synthesizers, samplers and drum machines, and you can clearly hear that «De ton absence» has some inspirational waves of Human League, Visage or Gary Numan.

«De ton absence» is about how one person dearly missed someone in the midst of a specific memory in which that person was absent… while also that this particular memory was somehow pleasant.

It is a mirror effect in evocation of memories versus a general sense of longing, and the existential appreciation of that longing feeling.

This release including not only cold 80’s New Wave vibes but also pure dancefloor bomb remix made by Timothy J. Fairplay and his Roland TR-808 drum machine.

The EP will be published in vinyl and is expected to be available in late July or early August.
