Waking The Night is the first single mixed from their upcoming third album, marking a departure from their signature industrial and EBM sound. The track breaks new ground, delving into a more visceral and emotional territory, shaped by the devastating loss of Dein Offizier.

Zwaremachine regresa con un brutal recordatorio de su poderío en la escena dark electro e industrial. Waking The Night fue la primera canción que se mezcló para el próximo tercer álbum de Zwaremachine, el cual se aleja de su habitual sonido vinculado estrechamente al industrial y al EBM. Waking The Night rompe con su sonido habitual, sumergiéndose en un territorio más visceral y emocional, marcado por la devastadora pérdida de Dein Offizier.

The song features Dein Offizier’s drumming, recorded before his passing in August 2023. The band was in the process of writing and recording new material while he battled acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and wanted to honor him with this release. His death was a profound blow to Zwaremachine, delaying the album’s production as they grappled with how to move forward, knowing he had wished for them to continue no matter what. Dein Offizier is irreplaceable, leaving behind not only his thunderous surdo drumming but also his commanding stage presence, charisma, and humor. Zwaremachine dedicates this song to his memory.

Esta canción cuenta con la batería de Dein Offizier, que falleció en agosto de 2023. La banda estaba en el proceso de escribir y grabar canciones para el nuevo álbum al mismo tiempo que él estaba luchando contra la leucemia mieloide aguda (AML) y quería honrarlo con este lanzamiento. La pérdida de Dein Offizier fue devastadora para los miembros de Zwaremachine y la producción del álbum se retrasó mientras intentaban averiguar cómo seguir adelante, ya que él había deseado que continuaran pasara lo que pasara. Sin duda, Dein Offizier no puede ser sustituido y aportaba una enorme presencia al escenario, no sólo con su estruendoso tambor Surdo, sino también con su carácter y su humor. Zwaremachine dedica esta canción a su memoria.

The EP also includes four remixes by Planktoon, VV303, Darker, and Statik Sekt, transforming the original track into a cohesive and compelling release for darkwave enthusiasts.
