CYD – Some Things Will Never Change [Subsist Records]

Subsist Records is one of the most respected labels on the Spanish techno scene, but this project, which already has 12 years of history, has been moulding its personality with a more versatile, wide-ranging style and given to releases that have nothing to do with the dancefloor, such as CYD‘s new album.

Subsist is once again counting on this Polish producer who is also the head of Solemne Records. This artist has shown that musical composition has no limits and that any pattern, any influence and any sound structure can intermingle and share the same story.

Sanity Changelog is an extensive album, with 12 tracks that perfectly detail CYD’s creativity. Under a background of electronica appear textures and allusions to other genres such as IDM, downtempo, acid, industrial or even abstract. His musicality is exuberant, we can say that his work is mainly based on harmonic combinations and that his potential increases with rhythmic treatments.
