SAWT – Central bank Of Libya

SAWT is the project embodied by Palestinian producer Kamel Badarneh. This artist, although currently living in Brussels, claims in some of his works the horrible situation that his people are living through, transforming original recordings taken at strategic points, such as checkpoints, into a soundtrack that reflects the tense atmosphere in those common areas.

SAWT publishes his material independently on his own Bandcamp page, in Soundcloud and in Spotify, without intermediaries, as he did with Perma-Inputs and Music For Checkpoints, his two previous EPs, and repeats the same formula with Sobers, his most recent work.

The 5 tracks EP «Sobers» is the result of one year exploration and experimentation into the world of analogue machines and semi-modular synthesis. Unlike his previous two EPs, which were entirely produced out of soundscapes, SAWT brings a fully analogue and semi-modular sound in «Sobers» , and yet, he managed to keep his unique sound signature that we can also hear in his previous works.

«Sobers» is a fully independent work from A-Z; starting from production till the mixing and mastering.
