Donna Haringwey – Exiting The Vampire Castle [Strange Therapy]

Last summer we reported on Donna Haringwey‘s latest album released on the Dutch label Strange Therapy, a label that, as we said at the time, fits in perfectly with the musical philosophy of this artist, as it has been enriching its catalogue with proposals very similar to the visceral and heartbreaking sound that he generates in each of her productions. However, Donna Haringwey’s new release is an alternative version of Inside the Vampires Castle by different artists.

The result of Exiting The Vampire Castle is quite curious; not all the tracks from the original album appear on this release, there are even some versions that mix two tracks, however, what is most important is that each author has managed to capture Donna Haringwey’s creative intensity. It should also be added that Donna Haringwey himself has participated in this reconstruction of Inside the Vampires Castle.

Death Qualia, Swordsmith, Qual, Iron Lang, Televangelist, KCVS, Slave to Society, The Undertaker’s Tapes and Donna Haringwey have selected each of the tracks and transformed them into a new piece. The result is an album with a similar transgression to the original album, and a much wider wealth of influences.
