Alpha Sect – Pyromancer’s Ritual (Marea Remix) [Pildoras Tapes]

George McCall, known artistically as Alpha Sect, debuts on Pildoras Tapes with an album that shows his influence by the genres that emerge with post-punk, as well as his predisposition to give his work musicality and elaborate harmonic combinations. McCall is one of the members of the instrumental alternative rock band Sleestream, so his training and musical skills are evident in his solo project.

Black Synapse is an 8-track that mixes forcefulness with hypnotism and other properties linked to the power of suggestion. Arpeggios and chords are intentionally coordinated to provoke the listener’s mind into a spiritual state of consciousness.

The first four tracks are originals, then each of them has a different version. The Argentinean duo Happy 707 (May McLaren & Palmaliero) remix The Sanity, HalbMaschine takes care of the version of Ashes In Peril, Ravetop remixes The Insanity and Marea closes the album reinterpreting Pyromancer’s Ritual.
