Darqhorse – Consciousness Systems [Diffuse Reality]

Diffuse Reality will celebrate a decade of life next year 2024, and if there is one thing we can say that has not changed during these 9 years of existence, it is the constancy and persistence to maintain a dynamic recording activity, as it has an extensive catalogue, given that its level of publications is really surprising.

Another of the great resources of this Catalan label is its enormous capacity to discover great musical talents, new artists or artists who, despite their great aptitude, have had a rather discreet musical career. And in this situation we can place the Irish producer Darqhorse, a musical project of which we hardly know anything about him, only that his real name is Jimmy Wormall, a native of Cork City, who to date has only released one solo EP, as well as collaborating on several compilation albums, and that his style is oriented towards genres such as electronica or electro.

Digital Dawn is Darqhorse’s debut full-length, an album in which he demonstrates a clear orientation towards electro, although he also expands his sound with electronic and acid textures.
