F.O.L. – The Unbearable Shiteness of Being [Pie Factory Productions]

Adam Lincoln founded Pie Factory Productions in 2012 along with Aubrey King and Techno Fluffer, a label created intentionally to house his own musical heritage, as this London artist is involved in all the references released by the label to date, and also from his various musical projects, such as Teknocrazy, with which he signs most of his work, as well as sharing, both under this name and with Dilettantism, a release in 2015 with the legendary Jerome Hill and The Dexorcist.

Adam Lincoln is back with a new release, but this time from his solo project F.O.L. (Fight or Lose). Gratitude is the second EP from F.O.L., there was a first release in 2019 with Blame It On Fox, however, with this new release Adam moves closer to an obsessive, industrial sound environment. The Unbearable Shiteness of Being opens the EP with a slow cadence, sharp drum beat and a set of three synthesised lines with which the author manages to create an intense and raw atmosphere. Sunshine Love mixes mysticism with a ceremonial harmonic context. And finally, the track of the same name closes this three-track release with a really powerful industrial break.
