Filmmaker – Machinations [Wave Tension Records]

We should no longer speak of Filmmaker as an emerging artist in the new post-industrial scene, but as one of the most efficient models with the most personality in today’s dark electronic music. His releases are sought after and sought after due to a series of factors in which we can highlight a unique and original style, and a great wealth of influences.

Last October, Filmmaker released a new album. This time he debuted on the Dutch label Wave Tension Records with Machinations, a release in which the Colombian producer shows that after so many releases, he still has enough room to surprise and innovate.

Machinations is a seven-track album in which we find completely electronic sounds that draw on elements of electro, and other types of textures and rhythmic patterns that evoke the impact that different musical genres originating in post-punk have had on this artist.
