Katsunori Sawa with remixes of Rune Bagge & Mike Storm [Diffuse Reality]
Diffuse Reality continues to tread lush ground with a musical formula far removed from the conventional techno scene. The next to join the catalogue of the Spanish-Argentine label is Japanese producer Katsunori Sawa, an artist with a natural talent to create works that exceed any limit established in the current contemporary scene.
Recently we talked about the latest work by Katsunori Sawa on the British label Opal Tapes and its adaptation to any avant-garde musical environment, with this new mini-album the story is repeated again, the creativity of the Japanese artist surpasses any expectation imaginable with this release in which claims the authorship of four tracks in which techno sounds organic, solid and very open to experimentation. Nothing has ever sounded the same to us before, we are dealing with a new world that has nothing to do with the usual patterns.
Mind Game, Crush, Milwaukee and Strippe Patterns are the four original tracks signed by Katsunori Sawa in this release, in addition to two remixes of Mind Game by Rune Bagge and Mike Storm, two very personal versions of both artists. Rune Bagge’s remix is pure energy, forceful from beginning to end and with a more accentuated expressiveness in the low frequencies. Mike Storm’s version is oriented towards the techno of cosmic harmony.
Below you can listen to a small excerpt from the original version of Mind Game. The release will be available in a few days.
