RVDMNTL – Faithful to Principles EP [Subsist Records]

RVDMNTL is the new artistic project of the head of Incense, a Seville-based techno-oriented label that recently celebrated its first release a couple of years ago. As for who is behind this alias, we can only say that he has previously worked under other aliases and that RVDMNTL is currently his priority as an artist.

Faithful to Principles, RVDMNTL’s first release, is an EP with five energetic and functional tracks in which the textures, the distortion of some elements and a sound synthesis coming from modulars and analogue devices seek to push the tracks to the limit and provoke their disfigurement.

With this EP, RVDMNTL makes it clear to the listener that his style is based, among other factors, on forcefulness and a great punch, as we can see that any of the five tracks has been designed from this common point. However, the author adopts a particular character in each cut, making use of spatiality, hypnotism, hostility or acoustic dimensionality.
