VA – Strict Tempo: Vol.1 [Strict Tempo]

Vox Sinistra transfers its nocturnal proposal to the recording field. Strict Tempo began as a series of events in which the DJ acts as hostess and shares the stage with international artists. Most recently, Strict Tempo had the legendary English group The Cassandra Complex as guests, although many names have lent themselves to this proposal over the last few years, such as Die Sexual, Kris Baha, Chris Shape, IV Horsemen and many more renowned artists.

Vox Sinistra traslada la propuesta nocturna al ámbito discográfico. Strict Tempo empezó siendo una serie de eventos en los que la DJ ejerce como anfitriona y comparte escenario con artistas internacionales. Recientemente, Strict Tempo tuvo como invitado al mítico grupo inglés The Cassandra Complex, aunque son muchos los nombres que se han prestado a esta propuesta durante estos últimos años, como es el caso de Die Sexual, Kris Baha, Chris Shape, IV Horsemen y muchos más artistas de renombre.

Based in Los Angeles, Vox Sinistra explores as a DJ dark avant-garde electronic music; from EBM to industrial, darwave, coldwave or new beat, and in many occasions, with a certain reminiscence to the sound of the 80s. This musical line is what she transfers to her label and what she shows in the label’s first official reference. Strict Tempo: Volume One and Strict Tempo: Volume Two is an album in which the American artist brings together a total of 24 tracks, 12 per volume, by different artists and musicians who are in the sound orbit of this project.

Afincada en Los Ángeles, Vox Sinistra explora como DJ la música electrónica oscura de vanguardia; desde EBM a industrial, darwave, coldwave o new beat, y en muchas ocasiones, con una cierta reminiscencia al sonido de los 80. Esta línea musical es la que traslada a su sello y la que muestra en la primera referencia oficial del sello. Strict Tempo: Volume One y Strict Tempo: Volume Two es un álbum en el que la artista americana reúne hasta un total de 24 pistas, 12 por volumen, de distintos artistas y músicos que están en la órbita sonora de este proyecto.

The list is enviable, complete and musically very diverse. Nevertheless, it perfectly captures the musical nature of the label. Well-known names, and some less so, of which we can highlight Bestial Mouths, JG Outsider, Violet Poison, WLDV, Alpha Sect or SOJ.

La lista es envidiable, completa y musicalmente muy diversa. No obstante, escenifica perfectamente la naturaleza musical del sello. Nombres conocidos, y alguno algo menos, de los que podemos destacar a Bestial Mouths, JG Outsider, Violet Poison, WLDV, Alpha Sect o SOJ.
