Soil Records commemorates this anniversary with an album designed for the occasion that, in addition to bringing together an exquisite cast of producers, facilitates the diversity of the project to the public. The reference evokes the concept of the record company showing all its range of genres and taking the cassette as the most optimal format for this type of releases.
Exhausted Modern opens with Courage, a peaceful ode to EBM that takes care of every detail, from percussive samples, to melodic pads, synth lines or more significant elements such as simple and very accomplished vocals. Viktor Kalima assumes the role of performer with the eclectic techno and synthetic textures of Uninvited, and SOJ, shows with Harsh a cruder, real and primary part of the post-punk influence in European electronics. Space closes the A side again with techno, Infinity is an esoteric track in which volatile chords alternate panorama and great tonal distances with an insistent and authoritarian arpeggiated landscape.
Hainbach inaugurates B side with The Inevitable, a solemn and extraordinary film symphony processed to the limit of degradation. Rrill Bell enters a field in which molecules are broken down into infinite particles, Apprehension Dub plays first and foremost with the perception of the human being and his capacity to assimilate countless signals. Froe Char surpasses the limits of everything allowed acoustically with Bright Exposition III with a controlled and extreme saturation. Someday (You’ll Want Me To Want You) is an industrial track in which Clarence Park delves into the entrails of the underworld, a theme that anticipates the conclusive Alfa of Primary Noise, a galvanic track of corrosive energy to finalize this commemorative album.
