Dstm – Fight The System [DSTM]

From the south of Naples, located exactly in the city of Salerno, emerges a double project that operates simultaneously as an artistic project and as a recording platform, however, its maximum responsible shields himself under anonymity by hiding his face with a two-coloured balaclava. Dstm and DSTM are the acronyms representing his alias and label respectively, both created during the unfortunate period of confinement in 2020.

Dstm’s style is characterised by the robustness of his sound and above all, by the intensity and energy he exudes. Fight The System, released today, is a concept album that ruthlessly and sonically stages his insurgent intention towards a society and a system that is corrupt and insensitive to the weak. From beginning to end, dominates the hard and impassive character of a producer who manages to combine in an excellent way elements typical of styles such as hard rock, with other electronic tendencies of heavy rhythm such as techno, EBM and rave.

Fight The System breaks down with 10 tracks different ideas associated with consumerism, selfishness and the dystopian future that awaits humanity.
