Edgeist – Solarkind [Enough Records]

The selfless work of netalabels is admirable. There are many platforms that operate with this formula, in which they offer their releases for free or at a very low cost. It should be added that, as happens in every scene, there are projects that need to be improved and others that are worthy of study due to the high quality they offer. In the case of Enough Records, the first netlabel created in Portugal, it has been working for more than 20 years with high quality productions, perfectly comparable to many powerful labels.

La labor desinteresada de los netalabels es admirable. Son muchas las plataformas que operan con esta fórmula , en la que ofrecen sus lanzamientos de forma gratuita o a un coste muy bajo. Cabe añadir que tal y como ocurre en todas las escenas, hay proyectos que deben mejorar muchos y otros que son digno de estudio por la gran calidad que ofrecen. En el caso de Enough Records, el primer netlabel creado en Portugal, lleva más de 20 años en activo trabajando con producciones de mucha calidad, equiparable perfectamente a muchas discográficas potentes.

Edgeist has been releasing his music since 2005 on different netlabels such as Abdicate Cell, Clinical Archives or Amduscias Records, and on Enough Records since 2011. This French producer creates industrial electronic music in a totally handmade way, everything is 100% DIY, from the generation of sounds to the creation of the artwork. He uses Tracker software with analogue samples, pairing synthesizers with effects pedals.

Edgeist lleva publicando su música desde 2005 en distintos netlabels como Abdicate Cell, Clinical Archives o Amduscias Records, y en Enough Records desde 2011. Este productor francés crea música electrónica industrial de forma totalmente artesanal, todo es 100% DIY, desde la generación de sonidos hasta la creación del artwork. Usa el software Tracker con muestras analógicas, emparejando sintetizadores con pedales de efectos.

Last year, Edgeist released ‘Sol’ on Enough Records, the first instalment of a triptych that had a second chapter in early 2024 with the release of Astra. Solarkind closes this industrial-tinged trilogy dedicated to space.

El pasado año, Edgeist publicó´»Sol» en Enough Records, la primera entrega de un tríptico que tuvo un segundo capítulo a inicios de 2024 con el lanzamiento de Astra. Solarkind cierra esta trilogía de tinte industrial dedicada al espacio.
