Con su EP debut, Lumina Obscura, Carmilla Sioux irrumpe en el sello Soil Records con una propuesta sonora que fusiona de manera magistral los ritmos pulsantes del EBM y la energía cruda del Techno Industrial. Este trabajo no solo demuestra un dominio técnico apabullante, sino que también se sumerge en profundidades conceptuales, explorando temas alquímicos de transformación, renacimiento y la constante lucha entre la luz y la sombra.

The collaboration with Newborn Ghost adds an additional layer of intensity to the project. Their evocative lyrics and captivating vocal performance serve as a guide through this sonic journey, where each track becomes a ritual of liberation and reinvention. The emotionally charged vocals intertwine with industrial beats, creating a contrast that reflects the duality present in the EP’s central theme. The album, in its cassette format, divides the four original tracks on side A, while side B houses the three versions: the two Spanish producers WLDV and Nightcrawler add an extra punch with their respective remixes, and the Colombian artist Filmmaker contributes a dose of alienation with a far more devastating and mental interpretation.

El álbum, en su formato de casete, divide las cuatro pistas originales en la cara A, y la cara B alberga las tres versiones: los dos productores españoles WLDV y Nightcrawler añaden un extra de contundencia con sendos remixes, y el colombiano Filmmaker aporta una dosis de enajenación con una interpretación mucho más devastadora y mental.
