Elm – Penetrator – Fulmen [Alfa Matrix]

Alfa Matrix is, besides being a label with more than twenty years of history, a very attractive platform for the artists who are part of its catalogue, as some of them work exclusively for this label. Elm is a good example of the high seduction that the Belgian label exerts on various musical projects, we can see that his entire discography, with three albums and several singles, is published in its entirety on Alfa Matrix. If we look back over the last few months, we first find Penetrator, a great album both for its enormous content, as it has 20 tracks, and for its magnitude, making it one of the most outstanding EBM albums of 2022. 

This album, in addition to having a strong impact on the EBM community, has several replicas in the form of singles. The first preview of this album came in May 2022 with the release of Steel Hope, which included two original versions that would later appear on Penetrator. More recently, just a few days ago, ELM released Vessel Of Violence EP, a release containing a total of 7 tracks with alternative mixes and very powerful versions of the title track by J Wølf and Swedish electronic cult group System.

Alfa Matrix recently announced that Penetrator will be getting a third re-release. Out in June is Penetrator – Fulmen Adveho, a 10-track album that takes the original versions of Penetrator and injects them with new energy! While some of the songs only have been slightly edited and adapted for the dance floor (and release format), others have gone through more drastic changes, all with integrity and respect to the original versions. This truly is Electronic Body Music at its best.
