Nigh/T\mare – The Oblivion of Time [kontralamakina]

Giuseppe Sciretti is the embodiment of the Nigh/T\mare project, the alias under which he has been releasing his music since his debut as a producer in 2017, when he released his first EP on the Bulgarian label DVNTT. With this first reference, the Italian producer already showed us his background to delve into different scenarios, mixing influences of dark ambient, techno, industrial or adding some more experimental textures. And always with the aim of creating a gloomy, mental and ritualistic sound environment.

Giuseppe Sciretti es quien encarna el proyecto Nigh/T\mare , alias con el que ha estado publicando su música desde que en 2017 debutara como productor lanzara su primer EP en el sello búlgaro DVNTT. Con esta primera referencia, el poductor italiano ya nos demostró su bagaje para ahondar en distintos escenarios, mezclando influencias del dark ambient, del techno, del industrial o añadiendo algunas texturas más propias del experimental. Y siempre con el objetivo de crear un entorno sonoro lúgubre, mental y ritualista.

Nigh/T\mare returns with a new work, this time, the Berlin label kontralamakina adds to its catalogue the debut of the Italian producer with The Oblivion of Time. The album features five original tracks and a remix by legendary Canadian duo Orphx.

Nigh/T\mare regresa con un nuevo trabajo, en esta ocasión, el sello berlinés kontralamakina añade en su catálogo el debut del productor italiano con The Oblivion of Time. El álbum cuenta con cinco pistas originales y una remezcla a cargo del legendario dúo canadiense Orphx.

The Oblivion of Time showcases Nigh/T\mare’s character and creative demand to devise a scenario in which he brings together diverse musical factors, from an intense emotional journey through the desolate landscapes of a distant and unexplored world. The forceful rhythms, the broken sequences that dominate each track, simulate breaking everything that appears in their path.

The Oblivion of Time muestra el carácter y la exigencia creativa de Nigh/T\mare para idear un escenario en el que conjuga diversos factores musicales, desde un intenso viaje emocional a través de los paisajes desolados de un mundo lejano e inexplorado. Los contundentes ritmos, las secuencias rotas que domina en cada pista, simulan romper todo lo que aparece a su paso.
