Mini-àlbum basat en el track «121 Xemeneies» dels We Are Not Brothers i Hugo Mas, que conta en clau poètica-electrònica els fets històrics de la Revolució del Petroli o Desfeta del Petroli, un aixecament revolucionari anarcosindicalista que succeí a la ciutat d’Alcoi el juliol de 1873 en el marc dels moviments cantonals durant la I República Espanyola. El nom prové del fet que les masses, enfurides, duien com a estendards grans torxes untades amb petroli i, durant uns dies, tota la ciutat feia olor de petroli.

Quatre tracks (més el track original) que narren des de l’arribada de la indústria a un Alcoi artesà i rural fins a la brutal i sanguinària repressió posterior per part de l’Estat Espanyol, que va deixar profundes seqüeles en la ciutat i greus retocessos en la lluita obrera espanyola.

L’edició física es publica en vinil gràcies al suport dels segells valencins Industrial Complexx, Música de Telers i Abraxas Records i conta amb un llibret redactat per Jordi Tormo Santonja on podeu conèixer en major profunditat aquesta sanguinaria història que pretenem reivindicar.

Mini-album based on the track «121 Xemeneies» by We Are Not Brothers and Hugo Mas, which tells in a poetic-electronic key the historical events of the Oil Revolution, an anarcho-syndicalist revolutionary uprising that happened in the city of Alcoi in July 1873 in the framework of the cantonal movements during the Spanish I Republic. The name comes from the fact that the enraged masses carried large oil-smeared torches as banners, and for a few days the whole city smelled of oil.

Four tracks (plus the original one) that narrate from the arrival of the industry to an artisanal and rural Alcoi until the subsequent brutal and bloody repression by the Spanish State, which left deep consequences in the city and serious setbacks in the Spanish labor struggle.

The physical edition is available on vinyl thanks to the support of the Valencian labels Industrial Complexx, Música de Telers i Abraxas Records and also contains a booklet written by Jordi Tormo Santonja where you can learn more about this bloody story we intend to claim.
