Mutualism is the pure essence of collaboration, an exchange that not only projects but also guarantees the growth of two individuals. In this bond, there is no competition; instead, a natural equilibrium emerges where both parties strengthen and complement each other. It is not about losing one’s identity, but about enhancing it, allowing individualities to shine even brighter when united. It is a reminder that when two forces ally, the result is always greater than the sum of their parts.

Mutualismo is a series of shared releases between two different authors, a concept adopted from the countercultural roots of the late 70s and early 80s with split albums, where both labels and bands worked collaboratively to intensify the outcome and support each other’s projects.

Following the same strict guidelines that define this type of release, Mutualismo 01 equally divides the work of Segurant and Group. First, Belgian producer Yannick Franck takes the lead in the first half of the album under the pseudonym Segurant, with four tracks of obsessive experimentation, featuring ruthless and stormy soundscapes. From the shadows emerges Group as the perfect travel companion to Segurant, with its usual blend of tribalism, industrial sequences, and sonic decay.
