Furthermore, they have had the honor of opening for international genre pioneers such as Linea Aspera, John Maus, and Harsh Symmetry, a testament to their quality and potential.

The genesis of the duo dates back to 2020, a year of global pause, during which two artists with disparate influences spanning rock, metal, and techno found a common ground for creation in darkness. This fusion of divergent roots is the key to their unique sound, which connects with the visceral energy of rock and the electronic pulse of the dancefloor. The outcome is a blend of influences ranging from post-punk and coldwave to industrial.

Following the release of their first two EPs, «Deception, Follow Me» (2021) and «When You See Me, Run» (2024), via Detriti Records, the duo now takes a crucial step in their career with their first full-length album. Sorrow, Bring Me Joy is the culmination of World, Interrupted’s artistic pursuit. The title perfectly encapsulates the band’s philosophy, a destined search for flashes of beauty and hope in the darkest of places. World, Interrupted emerge desde Varsovia (Polonia) como un proyecto orientado a la escena del darwave e industrial. Su propuesta sonora es una amalgama de sintetizadores gélidos y atmosféricos con líneas profundas de bajo electrónico y la fuerza cautivadora de voces femeninas. A este cóctel se suman, de forma estratégica, toques de guitarra distorsionada que añaden una textura cruda y contundente. El resultado es una música tan inquietante como emocionalmente resonante, densa, enérgica y bailable.
